# Therapists Plug

> An index of 8 475 psychologists, registered counsellors and psychometrists in South Africa, compiled from public directory listings, October 2026.

The data is the public facts of each listing: name, category, job titles, HPCSA number, suburb, city and province, session modes (online, in person), the practitioner’s published fee, therapy types, issues they list, who they work with, languages, medical aids, years in practice, their own website, links to the source profiles, and a link to the profile photo where the source shows one (the image stays on the source’s server; it is not copied). It is not a contact list: no phone numbers, email addresses or bio text are published. It carries no ratings, reviews or rankings; lists are alphabetical by name. Fees are the practitioner’s published rate, not a quote, and every number states its n and month. Listings can be claimed, corrected or removed by the practitioner.
